One Piece Chapter 1140 finally pits Luffy against the left-hand man of the former Pirate King, so here’s everything you need to know about what’s coming.

Scopper Gaban’s role in the Elbaf Arc was teased long ago. However, the legendary character finally makes his appearance in Chapter 1139, where he reveals how no one except Shanks managed to stop Prince Loki and cautions Luffy not to take the giant’s powers lightly.
But as expected, this only incites Luffy to free Loki from his chains. This prompts a much-anticipated clash between the future King of Pirates and the left-hand man of the past one, who’s also known as the ‘Mountain-Eater’.
The fight is finally shown in One Piece Chapter 1140, which picks up right where the previous chapter left off.

One Piece Chapter 1140 major spoilers
A page from One Piece Chapter 1140.

One Piece Chapter 1140 is simply titled ‘Scopper Gaban’. The cover page – featuring ‘Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage, Vol. 26’ – has Who’s Who charging at Ulti with knives.
The chapter starts with the Luffy vs. Gaban fight. Initially, the veteran pirate dominates the clash and hits Luffy multiple times. This frustrates the young man, leading him to unleash Gear 5. Zoro also joins the fight. But before it could get more heated, Gaban surrenders and gives them the key to Loki’s chains.
Elsewhere, in the middle of a forest, Gunko creates a mysterious circle called ‘Abyss’ and summons two other God’s Knights from Mary Geoise. The first one is a man of big stature with long hair, beard, and glasses. His name is Saint Sommers and he belongs to House Shepherd, similar to Gorosei’s Ju Peter.
The other man appears to be in the hybrid form of a Zoan fruit. His appearance is similar to that of Kirin, a mythological creature with the body of a deer, the tail of an ox, and the hooves of a horse. His name is Saint Gillingham from House Limotive.
Shamrock is confused by the arrival of two new God’s Knights as they need only three for their mission. Gillingham explains that Shamrock needs to return to Mary Geoise immediately. One Piece Chapter 1140 ends with the captain declaring that they’ll make ‘a game’ in Elbaf, hinting that something like God’s Valley could happen again in the giant country.
