The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remaster was leaked on April 15, giving the world further confirmation that the project is happening. Extra details have appeared via a surprising source—Xbox Support. Even though Xbox Support isn’t particularly privy to release date information, the date and Game Pass leak line up with current details.

An Oblivion Remaster would light up an otherwise quiet April 2025. There hasn’t been much to shout out about this month outside Blue Prince and the impending Forza Horizon and Days Gone Remasters. But another updated game is all but confirmed to arrive this month—Oblivion Remastered.


We’ve been waiting on an official Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion Remaster announcement, but Xbox Support may have done it for Microsoft.


Oblivion Remaster Reportedly Coming to Xbox Game Pass Day at Launch

They asked Xbox Support: “When will this game be available to play on cloud gaming?” The support operator replied: “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is set to release on April 21, 2025.“


It didn’t stop there and continued by adding: “It is confirmed to be a day-one launch title on Xbox Game Pass which strongly suggests that it will be available for cloud gaming through Xbox Cloud Gaming.“
