McDonald’s is giving fans a fresh way to enjoy its beloved McFlurry with the launch of the Mini McFlurry, rolling out at participating U.S. locations on September 10. This new smaller size caters to those craving just a little sweetness or wanting to share the experience with a friend.
Available in classic flavors like OREO, M&M’S and limited-time specials, the Mini McFlurry offers a convenient pick-me-up. In addition to the new size, McDonald’s is taking strides toward sustainability. The fast-food giant is replacing plastic McFlurry cup lids with eco-friendly “4-Flap” cups, already in use in countries like Canada and Indonesia. This change aligns with McDonald’s goal of sourcing all primary guest packaging from renewable, recycled, or certified materials by 2025.
“Packaging updates like this matter,” said Michael Gonda, McDonald’s SVP, Chief Impact Officer for North America. “We’re moving closer to our sustainability goals while offering U.S. fans a fun new way to enjoy their favorite treat.”
