Beats has just announced the return of its Pill portable speaker — and it’s been completely reengineered and redesigned, to boast a better sound than ever before.
Designed to be much lighter and more portable than its predecessor, the new Beats Pill features an all-day battery life of up to 24 hours. Now with USB-C audio and charging, the speaker is also dust and water-resistant, while its native iOS and Android compatibility makes the speaker more portable and versatile than ever before.
Completely redesigned with a new racetrack woofer and stronger neodymium magnets, the Pill now drives 28% more motor force and displays 90% more air volume, while its innovative structure with radial ribbing helps minimize low-end distortion — even at high volumes. Secured in its own housing for extra stability to help reduce distortion, the redesigned tweeter delivers crisp highs
and rich mid-range tones.
The streamlined Beats Pill features a 20-degree upward tilt for better on-axis sound projection, helping to minimize reflected sound. Accompanied by a removable carry lanyard and a soft-grip silicone backing, the Pill also doubles as a speakerphone for phone calls with clear speech.
