Fritos Is Dropping the Perfect Snack for You to Eat While Watching 'Twisters'

Twisters, the sequel to the '90s hit movie, will hit theaters on July 19 and, like the original, will likely become one of the highest-grossing films of summer. And Fritos is here to celebrate by twisting things up with two popular snacks.

On Thursday, the brand announced it's combining the flavors of Flamin' Hot Twists and Flavor Twists Ranch into one bag — which may just be the perfect snack to sneak into the theater.

"For the first time in the brand’s history, Fritos is blending two flavors — Flavor Twists Flamin' Hot and Flavor Twists Ranch – into one bag with an exclusive, limited-edition Fritos X Twisters snack," the brand shared in an announcement. "Even the spiral shape itself is a true 'Twister.'"

And while this all sounds like a crunchy little dream, it will sadly only be available to a lucky few fans. Those who want to get a bag need to follow @Fritos on Instagram, like the post about the new snack mix-up, and comment with the tornado emoji (it's this one "🌪" for those of you who don't speak emoji) for their shot at one of the limited-edition bags.

If you don't happen to win a bag, that's OK. You can always go to the store and pick up the Fritos Flavor Twists Honey BBQ flavor to at least give you that sensory experience of crunching down a teeny, tiny tornado.

Or, you could hunt down the limited-edition Fritos Classic Ranch Flavored Corn Chips, which the company brought back to shelves in May in partnership with the television show Yellowstone. Then, pick up some of the brand's non-twisted Fritos Flamin' Hot Corn Chips — which are a permanent flavor in the brand's portfolio — and toss those in a bag together for a homemade mix. No, it won't be twisted, but odds are it's still pretty darn good.

And at the very least, the brand said fans should keep a keen eye out when watching the new film to see if they can spot the snack on the big screen. At least until it hits "the suck zone." Then it's gone forever.
