First Look Images and Teaser Trailer of 'Jurassic World Rebirth'

Universal Pictures is keeping Jurassic World going. The studio has revealed a first look at the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey. Directed by Gareth Edwards from a script from David Koepp, who wrote the original Jurassic Park script in 1993, the latest film marks the seventh one in the 31-year-old franchise.

In Jurassic World Rebirth, the film follows the events five years after that of Jurassic World Dominion. According to the official synopsis, Rebirth occurs during a time when “the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.”

The first look images released by the studio sees Scarlett Johansson’s character Zora Bennett, a covert ops expert hired to lead the team extracting DNA from the three most gargantuan dinosaur species left alive, and Jonathan Bailey, a paleontologist named Dr. Henry Loomis, hiding in the foliage wary to be seen by the dinosaurs as well as, Ali, who plays Zora’s partner Duncan Kincaid, seemingly facing danger. Other characters include Rupert Friend who plays Martin Krebs, a representative of the drug conglomerate funding the expedition alongside Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain and Ed Skrein, who make up Zora’s team. The team finds themselves encountering a civilian family “whose boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinos,” leaving everyone stranded on an island where they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades.” Manuel Garcia-Rulfo Reuben Delgado, who is the father of the family that’s been shipwrecked. The rest of the family is played by Luna Blaise and Audrina Miranda.

The studio has also revealed a first look teaser at Jurassic World Rebirth, announcing it will hit theaters in July 2025. Steven Spielberg, Denis L. Stewart and Jim Spencer are executive producers and Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley are producing the film.
