First Look at The Thing and Human Torch in Marvel Rivals

NetEase Games has officially announced the addition of two iconic members of the Fantastic Four, The Thing and Human Torch, to the roster of Marvel Rivals. These characters will be available starting February 21, 2025, coinciding with the launch of the second half of Season 1.

The introduction of The Thing and Human Torch completes the Fantastic Four lineup in Marvel Rivals, following the earlier inclusion of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at the season’s outset.

In the game, The Thing assumes the role of a Vanguard, likely offering robust defensive capabilities and frontline support. Human Torch, on the other hand, is categorized as a Duelist, expected to deliver high damage output with his fiery abilities.

This update also brings significant balance adjustments to the game, aiming to enhance the overall player experience. Additionally, NetEase has responded to community feedback by reversing a previously planned midseason rank reset, ensuring that player ranks remain consistent throughout the season.
