EA Sports released its latest deep dive for the upcoming EA Sports FC 25 taking a inside look at the gameplay improvements coming to the game. For the most part, the focus was on the new FC IQ feature making its debut in EA FC 25.
“This overhaul of tactical foundations across the game delivers greater strategic control and more realistic team movement, while a new AI model powered by real-world data influences player tactics through all-new Player Roles,” Keegan Sabatino, gameplay producer, said about FC IQ.
With FC IQ, players will be able to have different formations during a contest with players changing roles mid-match to adjust to those formations. Roles help determine where your player will line up, how they will act on the field, and what they do with and without the ball.

FC IQ is the main factor behind player performance on the field,
“While a Role dictates the main responsibilities of the player, the Focus is a modifier upon the Role that enables players to slightly tweak one or two characteristics of it,” EA says.
