Vesper’s Host is set to launch on Friday, October 11, 2024, just three days after the Revenant’s release. What’s new about this dungeon is that it’s the first-ever dungeon to feature Contest Mode, a mechanic previously reserved for raids.

Destiny 2 Vesper’s Host Dungeon Contest Mode Power Level, Dungeon Race Detailed
Let’s dive into the details of the newly introduced Contest Mode in Destiny 2’s Vesper’s Host dungeon. Similar to how raids operate, Contest Mode for Vesper’s Host will be active for the first 48 hours, starting Friday, October 11, and ending with the daily reset on Sunday, October 13.

Contest Mode Duration: The mode will be live for 48 hours. Once the top three fireteams complete the dungeon, Normal Mode will become available to all players.
Power Level Requirement: To compete in Contest Mode, players must be at 1985 Power Level to match the challenge.
Entry Requirements: To participate in the Vesper’s Host Dungeon Race, each member of the fireteam must own The Final Shape dungeon key and pick up the quest “Rogue Network” from Spider, located in the Last City Seasonal hub.
