CONCORD WON’T HAVE A BATTLE PASS AND WILL ADD NEW CHARACTERS AND MAPS FOR FREE

When Concord launches in August, one thing players won’t see pushed on them is a battle pass. That’s because Firewalk has announced that the game won’t have one at all after being a premium-priced release.

“Concord does not have a Battle Pass,” the studio said. “We wanted to focus our attention on making Concord a rewarding and robust experience on day one, where just playing the game, leveling up your accounts and characters, and completing jobs yields meaningful rewards.”

On top of not having a battle pass, it was confirmed that the game will receiver additional characters, maps, and mores in the form of post-launch content updates. These updates will come in the form of seasons, and be “available to all players at no additional cost”.

A post-launch road map, they said, will be available soon.

Recently the game held an open beta where the numbers showed it didn’t perform very well on Steam.

Concord launches August 23 for PlayStation 5 and PC.

Does Concord not having a battle pass increase your likelihood of buying the game at launch?
