Borderlands 4 Is Launching On September 23

Borderlands 4 just got a new trailer at PlayStation's State of Play, giving us a more in-depth look at the gameplay. The trailer also confirms the release date: September 23, 2025.

As well as the release date, the trailer gives us our best look at the gameplay yet. This includes a lot of shots of the first-person gameplay, as well as a bunch of new weapons we can use to mow down enemies.

The release date reveal comes just two months after the game's big unveil at The Game Awards last December. It served as a good pallet cleanser for the failure of the film adaptation, which was a miss with fans and critics alike, while also bombing at the box office.
