The Black Ops 6 Season 3 roadmap is here, and it’s looking meaty. It was revealed in full by Activision today, and it heralds a new era of Black Ops 6, introducing six new (or updated) maps, a host of fresh weaponry, and, of course, plenty of gameplay updates. If you’re a Warzone fan, Season 3 also brings back Verdansk for the first time since 2021.
From the remastering of the Firing Range Black Ops map to the meta being altered with some fan-favourite weapons that haven’t been seen in years, there’s plenty to pay attention to in the Black Ops Season 3 roadmap.
Ready for 420

Right off the bat, you’ll see that there is a theme running through much of the Black Ops 6 Season 3 roadmap. There are just three weeks until ‘420’, which is a date celebrated by many Call of Duty fans worldwide. With that in mind, the devs have added a weed-themed variant of Nuketown, a special event called Blaze of Glory, and modes named Joint Operations.
There’s also a Bluntman and Chronic tracer pack coming to the game with Season 3 as Jay and Silent Bob enter the ecosystem.
Here’s the full graphic for the Black Ops 6 Season 3 roadmap:

New Maps in Black Ops 6 Season 3
If you’re a multiplayer kind of gamer, you’ll appreciate the new maps coming to Black Ops 6 in Season 3.
The most highly anticipated arrival is Firing Range, which hasn’t been seen in Call of Duty since 2018’s Black Ops 4. This remaster of the classic Black Ops Firing Range is sure to be an instant hit, but it has some competition when the update arrives on April 2.
Barrage is a new 6v6 map that’s set in Vietnam in the 1960s, which was a fairly turbulent time. Players will also be able to explore Nomad, a 1980s-themed map set in a fictional location in Afghanistan. That too is a 6v6 map, which means it will accommodate almost every core game mode.
Later in the season, you’ll be able to access Signal, Haven, and Blazetown.
New Weapons Revealed in Black Ops Blog
There are stacks of new weapons and attachments coming via the Black Ops 6 Season 3 roadmap:
CR-56 AMAX (Battle Pass)
HDR Sniper Rifle (Battle Pass)
Kilo 141 (Warzone Reward)
LADRA SMG (Event)
Nail Gun (Event)
Kali Sticks (Event)
The Monolithic Suppressor, one of the most popular attachments in classic Warzone, is coming back, and there’s a unique Grau conversion for the SWAT 5.56 that will kind of bring back another blast from the past.
But Wait, There’s More
Zombies is getting a new map in Shattered Veil, plus Double Tap is coming back as a perk. The new gameplay updates for multiplayer include Close Shave, which sees ‘classic melee’ return to Call of Duty, and the Death Machine is back as a scorestreak. Sharpshooter and Demolition, both fan-favourite modes, also return with Season 3 in Black Ops 6.
If you’re into collecting Operators, you’ll have new Hudson, Mace, and R0-Z3 skins to unlock. That’s right – Roze is back, and she’s arriving just in time for the return of Verdansk. What a coincidence.
I think you’ll agree that the Black Ops 6 Season 3 roadmap is pretty intense. Let me know in the comments what you’re most excited about.
