Batman: Arkham Shadow Release Date Announced

After knowing it was coming in October for months, there’s finally an official release date for Batman: Arkham Shadow. Meta and developer Camouflaj have announced that the game will be released on Tuesday, October 22.

“It’s the Fourth of July, and Gotham City is under attack by a new threat: the mysterious Rat King and his cultish devotees,” the game’s description reads. “As widespread rioting engulfs the city, Batman races to prevent this so-called “Day of Wrath” before it all goes wrong.”

The new game is part of the “Arkhamverse” that was developed by Rocksteady’s previous Batman games. This game, however, is set before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum. The game will feature classic villains like Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn.

Batman: Arkham Shadow will be available exclusively on Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S VR headsets. As far as a price goes, that has yet to be revealed. Right now you can only wish list the game on the Meta Quest Store.

It’s also worth noting that while you’ll need an internet connection to download the game, the game’s store page says no internet connection is required to play it.

Are you going to give Batman: Arkham Shadow a try now that we know its release date is October 22?
