Astro Bot’s release is here, but people are already wondering about DLC plans for the future. Luckily, the base game doesn’t appear to be all that developer Team Asobi has planned.
During a special pre-release presentation for select invitees, Team Asobi talked about plans for Astro Bot. According to the developer, the plan is to add 10 challenge levels as well as five speed run levels for players.
So far, no release window or actual public confirmation from the developers have been announced.
In the base game, Astro Bot will have 300 bots to rescue. Half of them will be call backs to various PlayStation characters and games of the past. Astro himself will also have abilities and skills that will remind players of classic characters.
Astro Bot is available starting September 6 exclusively on PlayStation 5.
Do you think Astro Bot needs DLC, or should it stand on its own?
